A PP play to force a good or a great shot opportunity

This is one of the most used – and one of the best – power play set plays there is at the moment.

As a lot of great plays do, this one started off as a pretty limited play with one major shot option, that a lot of teams started using. And when teams put too much attention on that one play, other options opened up. And now that it has become a double threat, teams really struggle to defend it.

I would say, it is almost at the point, that if your power play does not use this play, you are giving the opponents an easy way out.
