🔩 | The PK of Falun - a Good Mix of Athleticism and Defensive Awareness

With the first pick towards building a Team Frankenstein this off-season, I will be doing a deeper dive on how Falun defend on the penalty kill.

💡
The Frankenstein series will be going on during the off-season, in which I will pick a certain part of a certain team's game, and pick it apart. It might be something a team does really well, but it also might be something a team will be struggling with.

Falun has had good results on the penaly kill this season. They had 26 tries, and only conceded four goals for a percentage of 85%, which is almost unheard of in the modern floorball – where several good powerplays work at an efficiency of around 60% or higher.

Obviously, one big component is the players. And Falun has a lot of player who take pride in defending well, like Backby, Lundmark x2, Johansson, Seiler and Burman. And Bending-Sörling in the net has at times been out of this world.

What do they try to accomplish from a tacitcal perspective? Let us have a look. 👇
