What was left on the table in the men's SSL final game?

Let us start by setting one thing straight. I have a ton of respect for the situation you are put in as a player and a coach in these games where the entire season is on the line in one game. I get that teams will not go guns blazing with full court pressing or attacking the entire game with five players like there is no tomorrow.
I also have a strong opinion on teams being totally in control of their own strategies, meaning that trying to critize a team for not wanting to dance in a big game, is not a valid point. If you dislike a team playing slow, you have the chance as an opponent to just increase the pace with your own strategies with and without ball. It is in your control. So I am not going to critizise team's right to decide how active they are with the ball.
What I struggle with, is the fact that 90% of this game could have been played with division 2 players inside the bodies of some of the best players in the world, and the actual action on the court would have been similar. And I am not coming at that from an entertainment perspective (although the game was boring, and some of the stuff I will mention for sure would have made it more entertaining). I am talking about pushing the percentages to your own advantage in terms of winning the game and becoming Swedish champions.
My feeling is that both teams could have gotten more out of their great players, and therefor put themselves in a position to have a better chance of winning the game.
The focus on this analysis is therefor on what sustainable ways I see, where the teams could have increased their chances to win the game. More on that in the tactical takeaway videos further down.
