🔩 | Playing the Percentages and Making Big Saves

Tomáš Jurco was the sixth best goalie in the SSL according to the official save percentage statistics. The followers of xProgress probably know my approach to evaluating goalie performances in floorball by using save percentage as an important stat.

Now – it is not at all easy to compare goaltending in general, and I think it is really tough to compare him to the other top goalies in the world, but he is for sure up there with Hedlund and the gang as one of the absolute best in the business.

And now he is also part of Team Frankenstein, for his great performances in Linköping's net this season, alongside the title as rookie of the year in the SSL. What stands out the most about him for me, is the combination of making the saves you expect a top goalie to do, alongside being a guy who can steal a game with well timed big saves.
