Nykvarn made the playoffs in dramatic fashion for the second year in a row, and they did it by focusing their offense on not getting greedy in terms of what they were looking for passing wise in the offensive zone. Instead, they were really good at finding small isolated numeric advantages, to beat one line at a time.

As we see below, they were generally a pretty high scoring team this season, compared to the teams around them in the standings. From the fourth positon in the SSL and below, only one team had them beat in number of scored goals (Mullsjö).

Now, for this week's episode of Team Frankenstein, I have dug deeper into how they generated that pass centred offensive game in the last rounds of the SSL, earning a playoff spot again.
